Day 1 – Legal Framework, Pressure Vessels & Damage Mechanisms

Module 1 – Factories & Machinery Act 1967
Overview of Malaysian legal framework, DOSH requirements, and compliance obligations
for pressure equipment, piping and vessels.
Module 2 – Pressure Vessels (API 510)
Introduction to pressure vessels including inspection, rating, repair and alteration
requirements.
Module 3 – Fired & Unfired Pressure Vessels
Design, operation and compliance requirements for fired and unfired pressure vessels.
Module 4 – Damage Mechanisms (API 571)
Understanding corrosion, fatigue and degradation mechanisms affecting equipment.

Day 2 – Piping Systems, Repair Methodology & Field Application

Module 5 – Piping Systems Inspection (API 570)
Inspection systems, classification and integrity management of piping networks.
Module 6 – Repair Methodology (ASME PCC-2)
Approved repair techniques, welding, temporary vs permanent repairs and fitness-for service.
Module 7 – Storage Tanks & Integrated Systems
Overview of storage tanks and integration with pressure and piping systems.
Module 8 – Site Visit & Practical Application
